Unleash your creativity and become a Minecraft master! Wollongong Science Centre is excited to announce a 2 Day Minecraft Holiday camp on 13-14th July 2017 presented by Devika Learning

Wollongong Science Centre continually searches for collaborators to deliver unique learning experiences. Emerging technologies are evolving in leaps not steps, and are rapidly transforming our economies, work, and social interaction. We are partnering with  Devika Learning to provide students with the opportunity to develop experience and expertise in these technologies in a fun and interactive way using Minecraft.

Minecraft enable players to build constructions out of textured cubes in a 3D procedurally generated world. Students learn to inquiry, exploring and connecting mathematical concepts, choosing and applying problem-solving skills, mathematical techniques, communication and reasoning. This course is for students taking their first steps with game design and development for primary kids.

Guided by experts, Devika learning experiences are engaging, interactive and 100% hands-on, using playful cleverness to achieve a goal.

  • 2 day workshop (9am-3pm both days)
